There are multiple ways you can reinforce mindful behaviour in your organisation. Small steps can have big effects. Here we give you some examples of instruments and skills that stimulate mindful behaviour.

Joint Practice (gun drill)

In many organisations they have thought of how to handle unexpected or undesirable events. All procedures have been formulated in handbooks. However, practice often shows something completely different. For example, the ‘panic button’ that is supposed to be pushed is not accessible or the necessary telephone numbers are not available.

Mindful organisations adapt to this by practicing these kinds of situations on a regular basis. By actually rehearsing practice important gaps can be discovered.
